Public IT has been closely involved in taking a number of organisations in both the public and private sector through rapid service improvement and in many cases to successful certification against the ISO/IEC 20000 standard. We have been involved with the standard since its early beginnings as the British Standard BS15000 and were responsible for one of the very first certifications in the world.

All of these clients have felt the benefit of implementing best practice with higher staff morale, reduced incident backlogs, vastly improved relationship with the business and a more proactive approach to service delivery.

Our Principal Consultant, Ken Holmes, has significant experience with many of the major outsourcing companies including IBM, CAP Gemini, EDS and BT and has also worked with smaller service providers, both in-house and external, even achieving certification to ISO/IEC 20000 for one of our clients with an internal IT team of 4 people.

Ken is a regular presenter at the itSMF International Conference and is the co-author of the book "IT Service Management for Small IT Teams" published by the British Standards Institution.

We are now working with a number of clients across several business sectors and expect to be celebrating more successes in the near future.
